What better place to find good wine tips than from a store that caters only to wine enthusiasts? That's exactly what we thought when we asked Mike Hefner from It's About The Wine what he thought a great Easter wine would be. “Since most people will be eating beef, lamb, or pork, a pinot noir is the perfect wine for Easter dinner,” he says. Since pinots are typically very fruity, dry wines, they pair well with rich meats. Hefner suggests Domaine Carneros Pinot Noir and the Talley Pinot Noir, both mid-priced in the low $30 range, but says if you're serious about your pinots, the Flowers Vinyard Pinot is drinking very well, priced at $48. Pinots are perfect for Easter dinner, so whether you'll be eating beef roast, ham, or lamb, be sure to pick up a bottle of Hefner's recommended wines.
