Estrella Vineyards Petite Sirah 2004 Reserve

Little Italy is one of the finest Italian eateries in Bakersfield. But they're not just known for their delicious entrées, they've also got an extensive wine list. One of their most popular wines right now is the Estrella Vineyards Petite Sirah 2004 Reserve. It's a combination of cabernet sauvignon and merlot with a hint of pinot noir. With a light pepper and berry flavor, it starts off bold and finishes sweet. Dining Room Manager, J.R. Gonzales refers to it as the “perfect soft red.” It can be paired with any meat dishes that have a rustic or savory sauce. Chicken Marsala is a perfect match for this petite sirah, as it really intensifies the rich flavors of the sauce. With the price of the bottle being fairly inexpensive, too, this is the perfect wine for a summer dinner party. Happy tasting!
